We offer consulting services for feature film and documentary producers in the areas of development, financing, production and distribution. Based on our experience in setting up numerous international productions we will assist in making sure that your calculation and financing plan meets the requirements of national film funds as well as international co-production treaties.
We can help you to gap-finance your films by providing access to TV stations, distributors and co-production partners and much more.
Björn Jensen has worked as supervising producer and consultant on dozens of award winning documentaries and feature films. He holds master degrees in German and English Literature (M.A.) as well as Business Administration (MBA). Besides working as a lecturer for several media colleges, Björn Jensen offers workshops on film production several times a year. He is member of the Board of Directors (treasurer) of the German Documentary Association (AG DOK) he is member of the friend's association of Munich's University of Television and Film and the friend's association of Munich's International Documentary Film Festival.
For our distribution we are looking for quality series or award winning one-off documentaries in science, history, travel, arts, social issues and human interest.
Where does the name Ginger
Foot Films come from?
Ginger Foot is a
term used in South-East Asia to describe a flat foot which is often found
with people who grew up wearing flip-flops rather than shoes. Our logo is a
print of a real Ginger Foot – no kidding. These people have developed
unusual skills and can use their feet almost as skilfully as their hands.
The name is our game. We like films, which surprise with unusual stories,
angles and concepts.
